Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Beeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Mogilevich!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beeman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mogilevich closes the distance and clinches.
Beeman swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Mogilevich breaks from the clinch.

Beeman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mogilevich to the mat! Mogilevich manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Beeman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mogilevich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mogilevich trying to control the position.
Beeman won't allow Mogilevich to sweep him here.

Mogilevich looking for a guillotine here but Beeman defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mogilevich wants to get back to his feet but Beeman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Beeman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Beeman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mogilevich is wriggling around but Beeman manages to pass to half guard.
Mogilevich is looking for a sweep. Beeman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Beeman lands with a punch from half guard.
Beeman slows the pace down in half guard.

Mogilevich actively working from the bottom here.

Beeman performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Beeman moves nicely into side control.
Mogilevich managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Beeman.
Beeman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mogilevich tries to bench press Beeman off him but Beeman keeps the position.
Beeman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Beeman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mogilevich managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Beeman.
Beeman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mogilevich keeps working.

Mogilevich is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Beeman take his back! Uh oh - Beeman has got a rear naked choke here! Mogilevich is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
