The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Norte tries for a takedown but Hatake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Del Norte shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hatake trying to control but Del Norte postures up.
Del Norte is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hatake has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hatake wants to get back to full guard.
Hatake actively working from the bottom here.
Hatake is staying active underneath Del Norte, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hatake wants to control but Del Norte is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Del Norte is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hatake doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Del Norte.

Del Norte working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hatake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hatake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Del Norte is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hatake has his hands clasped together but Del Norte extends and breaks Hatake's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Del Norte.
