Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix. On his way into the cage it seems that Rockford Knight has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rockford Knight seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rockford Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lou Ferrigno! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrigno throws out a loose jab but Knight uses good head movement to avoid it. Knight forces Ferrigno back against the cage and clinches. Ferrigno is trying to force a seperation but Knight has the dominant position. Ferrigno tries to circle away but Knight has him pinned against the cage. Knight keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferrigno's efforts to push away. Knight lands a hook to the side of the head. Ferrigno manages to break the clinch.
Ferrigno misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lou Ferrigno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferrigno throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ferrigno closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Rockford Knight has been cut. Ferrigno swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Knight counters with a good low kick that Ferrigno was not able to check. Ferrigno closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Knight lands a head kick. Ferrigno smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Knight. Ferrigno lands with a nice combination. Knight backs away looking to recover. Knight with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ferrigno throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Knight on the side of the head. Decent striking displayed by Knight there. Knight lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ferrigno's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrigno chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Knight can pounce on him.
Ferrigno throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Knight throws the left hand but Ferrigno avoids the punch easily. Ferrigno throws a lazy right hand but Knight sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Knight connects with a body shot that sends Ferrigno's belly button to the back. Ferrigno takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Knight tries to land a front kick but Ferrigno steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Some wild striking there from Ferrigno.
Ferrigno fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ferrigno swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Knight uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Ferrigno steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Knight. That one must have hurt. Ferrigno looks winded! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A punch combination from Ferrigno misses. Knight cracks Ferrigno with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ferrigno on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
No joy there for Ferrigno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've been told by Knight's head coaches at Nelson Fight Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight lands a big head kick that sends Ferrigno tumbling to the mat! Knight takes a step backwards and waves Ferrigno back to his feet - he wants the finish! Knight cracks Ferrigno with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Knight has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ferrigno to stand back up!
Ferrigno is rocked! Knight scores with a kick to the midsection. Ferrigno is still on wobbly legs! Can Knight finish him? Knight jabs Ferrigno to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ferrigno seems to have recovered his senses. Ferrigno tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Knight uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A punch combination from Ferrigno misses. Ferrigno takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Knight takes the fight into the clinch. Knight is working Ferrigno over against the cage. Knight gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Knight lands a shoulder strike. Ferrigno working hard to break the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Knight. Knight lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Ferrigno has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight scores with a shot to the side of Ferrigno's head. Knight lands a shoulder strike. Knight lands a hook that snaps the head of Ferrigno backwards. Knight lands an uppercut. A short right from Knight. Knight lands a right hand. Ferrigno is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ferrigno has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Knight seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Ferrigno can turn it around. A nice glancing elbow lands by Knight. Knight keeps control of Ferrigno as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ferrigno is trying to break free. Ferrigno struggles to land a body shot inside as Knight controls his hands.
Ferrigno wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Knight presses Ferrigno against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Knight tries a body shot but Ferrigno blocks it.
Knight lands with a light punch inside. Knight prevents a body shot from Ferrigno. Knight is working Ferrigno over against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knight keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferrigno's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on Ferrigno's face as he tries to break the clinch. Knight lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ferrigno. Knight lands a hook to the side of the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Knight. Knight lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Ferrigno tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Nice elbow from Knight. Knight softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Ferrigno is trying to push Knight away but Knight has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ferrigno tries to break free but Knight pushes him back against the cage. Knight lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ferrigno backwards. Knight lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Knight lands an elbow that stopped Ferrigno in his tracks for a moment. Knight creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ferrigno's defenses. Ferrigno tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Knight creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rockford Knight dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rockford Knight's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Knight lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ferrigno pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Knight back to the cage. Ferrigno follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Rockford Knight is winning the standup battle so far. Knight cracks Ferrigno with a good jab. Lou Ferrigno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ferrigno bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Knight comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Ferrigno falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Ferrigno was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rockford Knight! An out of breath Rockford Knight thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
