Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Grundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ava Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Moment. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundy tries to clinch but Noel is having none of it.
Grundy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Noel throws out the jab.

I was talking to Grundy's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Good leg kick by Grundy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round but I would say that Benjamin Grundy will probably get the nod.

Grundy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Noel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Noel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Grundy on the side of the head.
Grundy is rocked!
Noel cracks Grundy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Grundy falls backwards against the cage. Noel follows up with more strikes that drop Grundy to his knees. Noel keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Grundy! This one is all over!
