Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between joe bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pena Jumalauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, joe bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pena Jumalauta! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! bob throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jumalauta. Jumalauta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! bob shoots in but Jumalauta avoids the takedown attempt easily. bob fails to land the takedown. bob staying out of range there. bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jumalauta as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for joe bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jumalauta lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and bob has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from bob and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. bob misses with a takedown attempt - Jumalauta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jumalauta throws a hook but bob blocks it. Jumalauta swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and bob counters with a series of strikes. Jumalauta will be more careful next time no doubt. Jumalauta with a lazy takedown attempt and bob decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jumalauta's guard. bob prevents Jumalauta from getting back to his feet. bob controls the pace of the fight for a moment. bob might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jumalauta wants to stand and escape but bob is having none of it.

and bob counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. bob sitting in guard, not really doing much. bob stands and throws Jumalauta's legs to the side, diving into side control. bob could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. bob advances nicely into full mount. bob controlling from the full mount. Jumalauta tries to buck bob off but he can't manage it. bob looking to control and managing it successfully. Jumalauta really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jumalauta's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. bob prevents Jumalauta from getting the reversal. Jumalauta tries to buck bob off but he can't manage it. bob content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jumalauta's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. bob controlling the position easily from mount.

The referee stands the fighters back up. joe bob just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jumalauta closes the distance but bob moves to the side and bob counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jumalauta's guard now. bob is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jumalauta avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. bob prevents Jumalauta from getting back to his feet. Jumalauta is trying to control the position but bob postures up. Jumalauta is looking to stand up but bob isn't so interested in that idea. bob is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. He's got his arms around Jumalauta's waist but Jumalauta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing bob off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for joe bob. Jumalauta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. bob seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jumalauta for as long as he can get away with.
