The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Carvalho has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Llorent is trying to keep an underhook but Carvalho manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Carvalho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Llorent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Carvalho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Carvalho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carvalho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Llorent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Carvalho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fabricio Carvalho opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
