The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mandzusk throws a right and a left that both miss.

Alexander tries to pull guard but Mandzusk holds him up against the cage and eventually Alexander drops back down to his feet.
Alexander manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Alexander changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mandzusk fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mandzusk is pawing at Alexander, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Alexander's nose. Alexander is badly hurt! Mandzusk pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Alexander tries desperately to hold on but Mandzusk is relentless in his assault! As Alexander receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mandzusk away and this one is in the books!
