Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alonzo Bean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tap Out! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Out closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bean's guard. Out has gone for a leg lock! Bean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Out's guard. Out has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bean is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Out. Bean is trying to get an arm triangle but Out is defending well. Out manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bean's best efforts. Out has a hand on Bean's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bean takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Out can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean content just to control the position here. Out tries to get back to half guard but can't. Out slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Out looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bean pushes past his half guard into mount! Bean with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean tries to control but Out wriggling away. Out can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Out sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Out with the active half guard here but Bean passes nicely into side control. Out manages to get back to half guard. Out actively working from the bottom here. Bean looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Out with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Out wants to get back to full guard but Bean has passed into side control. Out looks winded! Out is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bean scoring with punches from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bean works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Out regains half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Out works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Out drives through with a takedown into Bean's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Out pushes down on Bean's leg and manages to get into half guard. Out is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bean sees it coming and defends easily. Out is looking to take a break and control but Bean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bean is looking to improve his position.
Out is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Bean as he works his way to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bean scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Bean could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bean throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Out sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bean's guard. Bean wants to improve his position but Out is controlling well.
Bean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Out on the ground. Out is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bean doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Out. Bean moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bean keeping moving, preventing Out from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out has gone for a leg lock! Bean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Out's guard. Out has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bean doesn't defend quickly enough and Out has managed to lock this one up! Can Bean escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Out on a fantastic submission victory.
