The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lamb avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cavus.
Lamb tries to clinch but Cavus moves out of range.

Cavus moves into range and clinches up with Lamb.
Lamb is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cavus pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lamb jumps guard but Cavus stands there with Lamb around his waist. Lamb gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jewel Lamb.
I think Cavus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
