Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niacisse Kenmoghn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Coryatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coryatt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome 2 Houston. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Niacisse Kenmoghn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Coryatt! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenmoghn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kenmoghn misses with an uppercut
and Coryatt counters by moving into the clinch. Coryatt misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kenmoghn is looking for a takedown. Coryatt using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kenmoghn has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Coryatt working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kenmoghn looking to slow down the pace here. Kenmoghn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coryatt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Coryatt throws a head punch that misses. Coryatt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Coryatt pulls Kenmoghn into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kenmoghn wants to control from the top but Coryatt keeps moving. Kenmoghn throws a big right hand that misses. Coryatt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kenmoghn is controlling him. Kenmoghn landing with the ground and pound. Kenmoghn stays in close to Coryatt's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenmoghn wants to control from the top but Coryatt keeps moving. Kenmoghn connects with a couple of short punches. Coryatt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kenmoghn postures up in Coryatt's guard and throws a big left but Coryatt blocks it. Kenmoghn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kenmoghn trying to control but Coryatt is working from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kenmoghn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kenmoghn with a flurry of punches that miss. Kenmoghn trying to control but Coryatt is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kenmoghn lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coryatt controls Kenmoghn momentarily but Kenmoghn frees himself. Kenmoghn landing some decent shots from guard. Coryatt throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Our spies down at at Xtreme Fight Club (easily best in Amsterdam) inform us that Coryatt has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kenmoghn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kenmoghn scoring with punches to the head and body. Coryatt doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Coryatt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kenmoghn defends well. Kenmoghn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kenmoghn is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Coryatt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kenmoghn controls the pace. Kenmoghn wants to control from the top but Coryatt keeps moving. Coryatt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kenmoghn looking to sit in guard and control but Coryatt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coryatt trying to control but Kenmoghn is working from the bottom. Coryatt looking to pass the guard. Coryatt preventing the sweep. Coryatt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Coryatt throwing strikes but missing. Coryatt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kenmoghn pulls Coryatt in close to prevent any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kenmoghn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kenmoghn tries to bum rush Coryatt with a series of wild strikes but Coryatt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kenmoghn just misses with a punch to the body.
Coryatt avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kenmoghn catches Coryatt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenmoghn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for Coryatt with that takedown attempt. Niacisse Kenmoghn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenmoghn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Coryatt counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kenmoghn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd cheers as Kenmoghn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coryatt doesn't seem phased though. Coryatt feints and as Kenmoghn raises his hands in defense, Coryatt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Coryatt wants to control from the top but Kenmoghn keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kenmoghn is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kenmoghn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kenmoghn distracts Coryatt with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kenmoghn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Coryatt's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kenmoghn trying to control the position from guard on top but Coryatt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kenmoghn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kenmoghn lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niacisse Kenmoghn dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Coryatt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kenmoghn defends well and Coryatt ends up having to push Kenmoghn into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Coryatt working aggressively here.
Coryatt creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kenmoghn's defenses. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Coryatt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kenmoghn throws a shot from downtown. Coryatt moves away and avoids it. Kenmoghn looks to land a right hand but Coryatt moved out of range. Coryatt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Coryatt moves in looking to clinch but Kenmoghn pushes him off. Coryatt on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kenmoghn scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Kenmoghn stalks Coryatt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Coryatt's face. Coryatt staggers backwards, shaken.
Coryatt is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kenmoghn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Coryatt counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Coryatt is still on wobbly legs! Can Kenmoghn finish him? Kenmoghn breaks the clinch.
Coryatt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kenmoghn. Kenmoghn wobbles Coryatt with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Kenmoghn dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Coryatt to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Niacisse Kenmoghn! Our winner, Niacisse Kenmoghn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
