Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Bradley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathan Young! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young gets caught flat footed, as Bradley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Young looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Young keeping moving, preventing Bradley from controlling successfully. Bradley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Young is keeping the position for now. Bradley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Young looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bradley tries to free his leg and advance position but Young is retaining full guard. Bradley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Young has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bradley has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley is pushing down on Young's leg trying to pass to half guard. Young is fighting to maintain full guard but Bradley has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young wants to improve his position but Bradley is controlling well.
Bradley wants to control but Young is keeping him busy. Young is defending against the submission attempts here by Bradley.
Bradley is keen to just control but Young is a slippery customer. Young is looking for a sweep. Bradley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bradley maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Young could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bradley has cracked it and Young is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bradley!
