Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jae Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borys Mankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jae Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borys Mankowski! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Wong. Wong tries to clinch up. Wong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mankowski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mankowski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wong.
Mankowski looks to land a combination but Wong avoids it well. Wong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wong tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mankowski defends well and Wong ends up having to push Mankowski into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Wong lands with a short shot to the head. Wong trying to stall but Mankowski improves his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mankowski has picked Wong up - he's going for a ride! Mankowski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Mankowski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wong keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mankowski wants to free his trapped foot but Wong is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mankowski controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mankowski throws a strike but Wong avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Wong wants to get back to his feet but Mankowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mankowski lands a glancing blow to the side of Wong's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mankowski swings for the body but Wong moves out of range.

Wong tries to clinch but Mankowski is having none of it. Mankowski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wong pushes Mankowski up against the cage in a clinch. Wong trying to stall but Mankowski improves his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mankowski jumps guard and drags Wong to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Mankowski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wong throws a big right hand that misses. Wong throwing strikes but missing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mankowski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borys Mankowski dominated that round. That's time! Wong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jae Wong. Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mankowski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wong misses with a takedown and Mankowski counters with a shoot takedown. Wong fights it but they end up in guard.

Mankowski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mankowski trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mankowski sitting in guard, not really doing much. Borys Mankowski has got the better of the ground game so far.

Wong defending well as Mankowski loads up on a big left hand. Mankowski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wong throws a series of punches but Mankowski avoids them all with ease. Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mankowski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mankowski takes a swing at Wong's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mankowski gets tackled into the cage by Wong. Wong maintains the clinch. Mankowski tightens his grip and picks Wong up, before dumping him to the ground. Wong manages to land in guard. Wong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mankowski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mankowski throws a strike but Wong rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mankowski wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jae Wong has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Mankowski. Mankowski tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wong's legs. Wong is trying to control Mankowski's posture but Mankowski avoids it. Mankowski looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wong is avoiding damage well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wong prevents Mankowski from improving position. You can see the frustration on Wong's face as Mankowski controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borys Mankowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mankowski sprawls well. Mankowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wong gets slowly back to his feet. Wong with a lazy takedown attempt and Mankowski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mankowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wong tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mankowski is in Wong's guard. Mankowski content to stall in guard here. Mankowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Wong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wong controls Mankowski momentarily but Mankowski frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sloppy strikes from Mankowski. Those never looked like landing. Wong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mankowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mankowski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wong darts in looking for a takedown but Mankowski gets double underhooks and turns Wong into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jae Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wong wants to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mankowski uses from the top position. Mankowski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wong wants to sweep but no luck. Mankowski sitting in guard, not really doing much. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Borys Mankowski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wong avoids the body shot from Mankowski.
Wong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wong there as he acknowledges the shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Wong misses with a head kick.
Wong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mankowski has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wong clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jae Wong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Good control from Mankowski.
And that's the end of the fight! Borys Mankowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mankowski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
