Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Berdich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Perrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Berdich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Helio Perrera!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Perrera.
Perrera throws a head kick that misses.

Berdich closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Perrera moves into full guard.

We've been hearing that Berdich has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berdich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perrera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Berdich has managed to get both his arms back between Perrera's legs - danger averted.

Berdich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perrera swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Perrera has his foot on Berdich's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Berdich works his way back into a safe position though.

Berdich looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Perrera with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
