Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ari Kantola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tharon Juric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kantola comes to the cage accompanied by Teräskehä. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juric tries to sprawl but Kantola drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kantola thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kantola wants to control but Juric is keeping him busy.

Kantola postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Juric is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kantola, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kantola thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Kantola wants to control but Juric passes easily into half guard.
Juric tries to stand and escape but Kantola actually recovers to full guard.
Kantola wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kantola has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Juric can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Juric looks to score with a jab to the body but Kantola is just out of range.

Kantola lands a big head kick that sends Juric tumbling to the mat! Kantola takes a step backwards and waves Juric back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Juric is holding his hands too far apart here. Kantola throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Juric is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ari Kantola!
Ari Kantola decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
