Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Allen Key!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key feints a jab promting Ross to slip. Key then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ross slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Key swings widly with a right hand
and Ross counters with a one-two to the body.
Ross jabs at Key's body.
Ross scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've been told by Ross's head coaches at Qube Striking that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Key misses with a double jab
and Ross counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Key has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Key throws a nice looking combination but Ross bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ross lands a nice looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ross fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Key manages to avoid it.
Key wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Allen Key seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Key looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Key misses with a double jab.
Ross steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Key.
Key jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Key. Ross does a little dance to reset his feet.
Key looks to throw the jab but Ross is out of range.
Key throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ross cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Key takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ross moves into range and connects with a jab.
Key falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ross counters with a straight right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Key will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ross bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Key's head backwards.
Key lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ross circles away quickly and effectively.
Ross on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ross lands a nice shot that snaps Key's head back.
Key misses with a hook
and Ross counters with a three punch combo that has Key backing up. Key nods at Ross to acknowledge the strikes.
Key lands a body shot.
Key looks to score with a jab to the body but Ross is just out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Ross there.

Key throws a combination that misses
and Ross counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheers as Key lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ross doesn't seem phased though.
Key swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ross counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Key looks winded!
Ross misses with a wild combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ross scores with the left hand. Key knows he should have avoided that one.
Key uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ross has time to react.
Key misses with a series of wild punches.
Ross walks into a jab.
Ross jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Key throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ross uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Key.
Key will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Key shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ross moves out of range of the strikes.
Ross throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Key.
Key throws a jab when Ross was well out of range.
Ross connects with a crisp jab.
Key misses with a combination
and Ross counters with a left and a right that stings Key.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Key misses with a body shot
and Ross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sloppy strikes from Key. Those never looked like landing.
Ross getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Key works the jab nicely.
Key gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Key tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ross is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Key buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Key!! Key is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ross throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Ross!
