Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taiwan Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taiwan Game! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Taylor! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Game enables Taylor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Game manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Game bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Taylor's guard. Game wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Game is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Taylor is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Taylor working a defensive guard here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Taiwan Game. Taylor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Game looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Game tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Taylor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Game. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. You can see the frustration on Game's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Game gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Game manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Game is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Game looking to sit in guard and control but Taylor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Game really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Game looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Taylor advances to half guard. Game is trying to stand.
Game is trying to get back to full guard. Taylor trying to control the action but Game is working from the bottom. Taylor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Game is just riding it out for now. Taylor eventually gives up the hold.

Game looking for submissions off his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Game is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Game was covering up waiting for the punch and Taylor finishes the takedown easily into guard. Game looking for a sweep. Not yet Game, not yet. Game is trying to keep Taylor in close.
Game keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Game throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Taylor escapes and throws Game's legs to the side, diving into side control! Taylor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Game wants to control but Taylor postures up. Game is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've been informed that Taylor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Game is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Game rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Taylor's guard! Nice work there by Game! Game trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Taylor keeping full guard, as Game tries to pass. Game drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taylor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taylor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taylor!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Game looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Game is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Taiwan Game will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Taylor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Game is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Game is looking to reverse the position. Game tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Taylor easily slips into full mount! Game swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Game loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Game throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Taylor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Game slips nicely into half guard. Luke Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Taiwan Game is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Game passes the guard and advances to mount!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taiwan Game. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Game, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
