The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemsworth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Salazar is looking to chop away at Hemsworth's legs.
Salazar is looking to clinch but Hemsworth is avoiding it.
Salazar tries to keep at a distance but Hemsworth has taken the fight into the clinch.

Salazar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Nathanial Salazar will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Salazar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salazar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hemsworth shoots in looking for a takedown but Salazar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hemsworth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Salazar connects with a nice short shot to Hemsworth's temple.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Salazar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
