Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Hallmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Piotr Hallmann was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomas Palmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piotr Hallmann! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hallmann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Hallmann lands a lovely overhand right. Hallmann swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hallmann scores with a decent looking hook. Hallmann scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Palmer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hallmann throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Hallmann gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hallmann trying to control but Palmer postures up.
Palmer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hallmann gets full guard. Hallmann is trying to keep Palmer in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer stays in close to Hallmann's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tomas Palmer just wasn't active enough. A punch combination from Hallmann misses. Palmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hallmann avoids it really well and circles away. Hallmann throws a series of punches but Palmer moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palmer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Palmer darts in and clinches Hallmann up against the cage. Palmer has clasped his hands together around Hallmann's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Palmer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hallmann to his feet. Hallmann smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hallmann lands a nice shot that snaps Palmer's head back.
Hallmann blocks a head kick by Palmer.
Hallmann is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Hallmann lands a really nice looking cross but Palmer seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hallmann throws a shot to the body.
Hallmann throws a right hand that Palmer ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmer also avoids with ease. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Palmer fails with a takedown attempt. Hallmann connects with a body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piotr Hallmann dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Palmer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hallmann scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Palmer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hallmann sprawls well. Hallmann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Palmer gets slowly back to his feet. Hallmann throws a body punch but Palmer moves out of range. Hallmann looks to score with a jab to the body but Palmer is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hallmann lands a nice looking body shot.
Hallmann connects with a right hand. Palmer shakes it off. Hallmann's jab looks to have found its range, popping Palmer under the eye. Palmer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Palmer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hallmann tries to bum rush Palmer with a series of wild strikes but Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hallmann misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Hallmann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown attempt by Palmer or perhaps it was just good defense by Hallmann, which made it look bad. Hallmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jab by Hallmann. Hallmann connects with a combination that backs up Palmer into the cage. Hallmann lands a flurry of punches that gets past Palmer's guard. Palmer is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Hallmann bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Piotr Hallmann!
