Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart comes to the cage accompanied by Hide Your Tears. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Hart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergio Moraes! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hart shoots in for a takedown but Moraes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Daniel Hart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hart closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hart takes an elbow to the temple. Moraes gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Moraes controlling the action here. Hart is looking for a sweep. Moraes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Moraes looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hart is trying to get back to full guard. Moraes wants to free his trapped foot but Hart is holding on for dear life with his legs. Moraes keeps trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart is trying to control but can't.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hart closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moraes did well to prevent Hart getting side control. Hart wants to take a breather but Moraes is having none of it. Moraes is looking for a sweep. Hart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hart throwing shots but Moraes is blocking nicely. Moraes is looking to control Hart's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moraes avoid being mounted? Moraes is defending against the submission attempts here by Hart.
Hart scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Moraes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hart avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hart postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Moraes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hart, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moraes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hart looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hart looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hart! Hart lands some shots froms side control. Moraes is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hart trying to control the action but Moraes is working from the bottom. Hart is trying to work for a kimura but Moraes is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Hart will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Moraes connects with the punch. Moraes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hart has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moraes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Moraes gets underhooks to prevent Hart's takedown attempt.
Moraes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Moraes looking to pass the guard. Hart had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moraes defends it easily. Moraes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hart swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hart wants to stand up but Moraes is controlling him. Moraes wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving. Hart looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Moraes puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Moraes looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Moraes stops Hart from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moraes is working for a kimura but Hart is defending it quite comfortably.
Moraes is looking to take a break and control but Hart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hart tries to roll over but Moraes keeps him under control. Hart wants to control but Moraes is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sergio Moraes has got the better of the ground game so far. Hart looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hart is not content to let Moraes control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergio Moraes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Horrible takedown attempt by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Moraes, which made it look bad. Moraes tries to clinch but Hart moves out of range. Hart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moraes's waist but Moraes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hart off to one side. Moraes is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hart circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moraes tries to keep at a distance but Hart has taken the fight into the clinch. Moraes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Moraes blocks an elbow strike. Moraes lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hart is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Moraes is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Hart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moraes working Hart over with knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes lands a nice knee to the body. Moraes lands an elbow just above Hart 's eye. Moraes gets through Hart's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Moraes makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Moraes has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hart regains guard immediately. Moraes tries to free his leg and advance position but Hart is retaining full guard. Moraes is stalling in the full guard. Moraes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hart pulls Moraes in to control the position. Hart is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Daniel Hart just wasn't active enough. Hart misses with a head kick.
Moraes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hart is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moraes closes the distance and clinches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hart is trying to break the clinch but Moraes has him pressed against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Hart tries a knee to the head but Moraes blocks it.
Moraes is defending well against a takedown attempt. Moraes gets a trip takedown into half guard. Moraes trying to control the action but Hart is working from the bottom. Moraes is looking for a kimura but Hart is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moraes to get the leverage. Hart works his way to full guard. Good work. Hart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moraes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Moraes looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moraes trying to control but Hart is working from the bottom. Hart controls Moraes momentarily but Moraes frees himself. Moraes controls from within his opponent's guard. Hart keeping moving, preventing Moraes from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sergio Moraes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Moraes avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Hart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hart scoring with punches and elbows. Hart is putting a hurting on Moraes here, landing some big shots from side control. Hart working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moraes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hart wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hart wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moraes, who protects the arm well. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sergio Moraes. I think Moraes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
