With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks to land a right hand but Morrow moved out of range.
Morrow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Morrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Morrow bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lee is looking to chop away at Morrow's legs.
Morrow works Lee's body with a nice hook.
Morrow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Morrow instigates a clinch.
Lee wants a takedown.

Lee turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Morrow scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.

Lee fails with a takedown attempt.

Morrow doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

Morrow catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Morrow throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.

We've been told by Morrow's head coaches at Kamehameha Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Morrow works the jab nicely.
Morrow cracks Lee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Morrow throws a lazy right hand but Lee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Siss Morrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morrow moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Morrow listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Morrow is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Morrow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lee tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Morrow checks a leg kick nicely.
Morrow lands with a hook. Lee tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Morrow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Siss Morrow is winning the standup battle so far.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Morrow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lee fails to pull guard.

Morrow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morrow.
Siss Morrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed right hand from Morrow misses the target.
Morrow misses with an uppercut.

Morrow rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage.
Lee fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Siss Morrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Lee.

Morrow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morrow scores with a nice head shot.
A jab from Morrow does it's job there.
Lee throws a right hand that misses
and Morrow counters with a nice uppercut.

Morrow rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morrow connects with a nice looking jab.

Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morrow napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Morrow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lee asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Nice uppercut there from Morrow.
Morrow works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Morrow throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Morrow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A clash of legs there as Morrow blocks the low kick.
Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morrow to score with a decent uppercut.
Morrow misses with a looping left.
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morrow.

Morrow has closed the distance and engaged Lee in a clinch.
Lee tries to pull guard but Morrow holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.

Morrow lands with a left to the head.

Morrow's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morrow wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
A left lands for Morrow.
A swing and a miss from Morrow.
Morrow lands a lovely overhand right.
Morrow scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Nice defenses there by Lee.
Morrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Morrow misses with a straight left.
Lee throws a leg kick but Morrow checks it.

Morrow moves into range and clinches up with Lee.

Morrow breaks from the clinch.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morrow as he jumps to the side.
Morrow tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morrow lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lee gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Morrow wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.

Morrow connects with a single shot there.
Lee lands a nice looking kick to the body. Morrow takes a step back to recover.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Morrow scores with a jab to the body.
Morrow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morrow.

Lee gets tackled into the cage by Morrow. Morrow maintains the clinch.

Morrow lands with a left to the head.
Lee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morrow just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Siss Morrow showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Morrow has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
