Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Nevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Last Dragon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Nevsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wilson scores with a jab.
Nevsky looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nevsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilson's waist but Wilson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nevsky off to one side.
A punch combination from Wilson misses.
A jab from Wilson misses.
Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet.
Nevsky tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nevsky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wilson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilson jabs Nevsky right on the nose. Nevsky blinks but takes it well.


It looks like Alexander Nevsky has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nevsky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Don Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wilson.
Nice shot lands for Wilson.
Nevsky takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wilson throws a jab but it's blocked by Nevsky.

Wilson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wilson.

Wilson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wilson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilson is looking to clinch.
Nevsky has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Supremacy MMA Academy in the buildup to the fight.

Wilson lands a big shot that drops Nevsky! Can he finish him?


Nevsky is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wilson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Oh Nevsky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilson lands a couple of elbows.
Wilson won't allow Nevsky to get back to his feet.
Nevsky seems to have got his legs back now.
Wilson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Wilson wants to control from the top but Nevsky keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Don Wilson.
Nevsky walks straight into a right hand from Wilson - that's dropped him! Wilson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nevsky from any more punishment! Nevsky complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Don Wilson!

Alexander Nevsky was interviewed post fight and said 'Well ... what can I say ... my opponent was better than me tonight and congratulations for him! But I will come back strong and better prepared next time and put on a show for you guys !!!!'.
