The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Queen throws a hook but Pitbull blocks it.
Pitbull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pitbull looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pitbull wants to control but Queen is keeping him busy.
Queen is trying to control Pitbull's posture but Pitbull avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Queen tries to bench press Pitbull off him but Pitbull keeps the position.
Queen takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pitbull in side control lands a decent elbow.
Pitbull has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pitbull has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Queen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pitbull yanks on the arm and Queen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pitbull.
