Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Baraka Simengwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukacz Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simengwa's entrance music is Afande Sele feat Ditto - Darubini kali. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Belmont's choice of entrance music: N.W.A - Appetite For Destruction. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baraka Simengwa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lukacz Belmont! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simengwa tries to clinch but fails miserably and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Simengwa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Simengwa moves into range and clinches up with Belmont. Simengwa has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Belmont after a bit of a struggle. Simengwa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Simengwa jumps guard but Belmont turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Simengwa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Belmont fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baraka Simengwa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simengwa tries to clinch up but Belmont circles away and keeps his distance. An inside leg kick lands from Belmont. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Simengwa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Some wild striking there from Belmont.
Belmont scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belmont throws a chopping leg kick but Simengwa manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Simengwa wants to clinch but Belmont slips to the side and Belmont counters with a nice uppercut. Simengwa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Belmont just misses with a punch to the body.

Belmont comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Simengwa tries to clinch up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Belmont.
Simengwa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Baraka Simengwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simengwa gets a clinch. Simengwa jumps guard but Belmont turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Simengwa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Belmont clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Simengwa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belmont is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Simengwa wants to control but Belmont is keeping busy. Simengwa is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Belmont defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Belmont tries to roll but Simengwa sticks to his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Simengwa is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Belmont is defending well though. Belmont staying busy and making it hard for Simengwa to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Belmont defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

A close round but Lukacz Belmont will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Simengwa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Simengwa tries to clinch up. Belmont cracks Simengwa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lukacz Belmont seems to be getting the better of the standup. Simengwa takes the fight into the clinch. Belmont is trying to break free. Simengwa is working for takedown but Belmont is calmly controlling the position for now. Simengwa is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Belmont to keep the fight standing. Belmont looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Simengwa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Belmont circles away. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Belmont. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Simengwa moves in looking to clinch but Belmont pushes him off. Simengwa wants to clinch but Belmont slips to the side and Belmont connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Simengwa finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Belmont's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Simengwa falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lukacz Belmont! After winning the bout, Lukacz Belmont thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
