Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michal Kucharski!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe moves into the clinch successfully.
Axe manages to break the clinch.
Kucharski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Axe counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Michal Kucharski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kucharski shoots in for a takedown but Axe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Axe counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Billy Axe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Kucharski.
Axe gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kucharski is trying to drag Axe to the mat but Axe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Axe lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kucharski jumps guard but Axe stands there with Kucharski around his waist. Kucharski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Axe stops a takedown attempt from Kucharski.
Axe lands an elbow inside.
Axe looking to throw knees to the head but Kucharski is blocking nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Axe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Axe stands and steps away. Kucharski gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Axe lands with a light punch inside.
Axe lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Axe scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kucharski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Axe just stands there and leans against the cage.
Axe lands a left hand.
A short uppercut from Axe.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Axe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kucharski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Axe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Axe connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kucharski's face.
Kucharski is rocked!

Kucharski is still on wobbly legs! Can Axe finish him?

Axe lands an elbow inside.
Axe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Axe fakes the body blow, causing Kucharski to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kucharski goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
