Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis comes to the cage accompanied by Bark at the moon. Jorge Dennis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Dennis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Clark!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis dives in for a single leg takedown but Clark sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dennis.
Dennis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clark gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Clark gets underhooks to prevent Dennis's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Dennis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clark gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dennis.
Dennis wants a takedown but no success here.

and Clark holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dennis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Clark is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Clark can't find room to land a body shot as Dennis controls the action.
Clark lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dennis backwards.
Dennis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Clark is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Clark prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dennis is looking for a takedown.
Clark misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Dennis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Dennis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clark pulls his leg out and moves away.
Taylor Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dennis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dennis.
Clark connects with a solid leg kick.
Dennis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dennis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clark circles away.
Clark fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dennis.
Dennis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dennis tries to move into range but Clark moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Dennis throws a body shot but no joy.
Dennis tries for a takedown but Clark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dennis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clark as he avoids it easily.
Clark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dennis.
Dennis looks to score with a jab to the body but Clark is just out of range.
Dennis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Clark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dennis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Clark works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dennis looks to land a combination. Clark sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A punch combination from Dennis misses.
That kick from Clark tenderised Dennis's leg. Dennis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dennis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clark avoids it really well and circles away.

Clark displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dennis.
Clark lands a slapping body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dennis.
Dennis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clark as he avoids it easily.
Dennis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clark moves forwards but Dennis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A right-left combo lands from Clark.
Taylor Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor Clark dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Clark tries to clinch there but Dennis circles away.
Clark keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Clark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Clark tried to score with a low kick but Dennis checks it.
Jorge Dennis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dennis checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dennis avoids the body shot from Clark.
Dennis misses with a wild combination.
Clark throws a push kick but Dennis slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nice straight punches there by Clark. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Clark.
Dennis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clark as he jumps to the side.
Clark throws a hook but Dennis blocks it.

Dennis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Clark has time to react.
Dennis shoots in looking for a takedown but Clark manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dennis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dennis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Clark. Clark obviously looking to wear him down.

Dennis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Clark uses from the top position.
Clark slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dennis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dennis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clark controls the pace.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dennis wants to sweep here but Clark controlling him for the moment.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Clark wanted to stand there but Dennis had control of the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Clark keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Dennis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clark tries to avoid it but Dennis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clark to the ground. Clark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Clark displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dennis.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Clark lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dennis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dennis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dennis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dennis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Dennis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Clark counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Clark lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Clark swings wildly with an uppercut but Dennis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dennis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Clark is defending well.
Dennis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Clark lands a hook that snaps the head of Dennis backwards.
Dennis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clark smiles and moves away.
Clark tries to work over Dennis's front leg with a kick but Dennis checks it.
Clark looks to land a combination. Dennis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

And that's the end of the fight!
Taylor Clark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Clark winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
