Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant swats away the attempt to clinch by Bowen.
Bowen closes the distance but Bryant moves to the side

and Bryant counters by moving into the clinch.
Bowen managing to block the knees to the body from Bryant.
Bryant blocks the elbow strike.

Bowen breaks the clinch.
Bryant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bowen is looking to clinch.
Bowen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bowen moves into the clinch successfully.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Bowen manages to break the clinch.
Bowen is looking to clinch but Bryant is avoiding it.
Bryant slips a jab and a cross from Bowen.

Bowen takes the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Bryant tries to break the clinch but Bowen is controlling the position.

Bowen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bowen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bryant throws a low kick but Bowen avoids it.
Makebono Bowen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bowen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bryant swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bowen moves into range and clinches up with Bryant.
Bowen is trying to break the clinch but Bryant has him pressed against the cage.
Bryant misses with a hook to the ribs.

Bryant's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bryant jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Bowen moves into the clinch.
Bryant jumps guard but Bowen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Bryant tightens his grip and picks Bowen up, before dumping him to the ground. Bowen manages to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bryant prevents Bowen from getting back to his feet.
Bryant is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bowen wants to get back to his feet but Bryant passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bryant controlling the pace.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bryant tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bowen.
Bowen is trying to stand up here but Bryant is controlling him well.

Bryant is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bowen sees it coming and defends easily.

Bowen looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bryant trying to advance position but Bowen counters by regaining guard.
Bowen wants to get back to his feet but Bryant is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bryant controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bryant postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bowen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bryant, into his guard.
Bowen wants to stand but Bryant has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bryant wants to stand up but Bowen is controlling him.
Bowen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bryant is proving hard to escape from.
Bryant wants to sweep here but Bowen controlling him for the moment.
Bowen wants to get up but he can't break Bryant's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bryant is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bowen is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Makebono Bowen will probably get the nod.

Bryant fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bryant drops his hands momentarily. Bowen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bryant staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bryant doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
