Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gaston Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Wilson! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wilson has hold of one of Dean's legs. Dean is fighting the takedown attempt but Wilson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Dean avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dean works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dean swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wilson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dean is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dean keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson looking to sit in guard and control but Dean gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dean postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wilson's head. Dean won't allow Wilson to sweep him here. Dean lands a couple of elbows. Wilson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dean defends well. Dean wants to stand but Wilson is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dean is looking to stand up but Wilson won't let him. Dean is looking to work some ground and pound but Wilson has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dean looking to sit in guard and control but Wilson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson looking to pass the guard. Wilson wants to control from the top but Dean keeps moving. Wilson throws a strike but Dean rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson is looking for a triangle but Dean pushes his legs off easily.
Dean is looking to stand up but Wilson won't let him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Luke Wilson dominated that round. That's time! Dean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dean throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson. Wilson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wilson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working. Wilson tries to move to full mount but Dean actually manages to regain half guard. Wilson wants to take a breather but Dean is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Wilson wants to advance to full mount but Dean doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean is trying to control the position but Wilson postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dean wants to sweep but no luck. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Dean is keeping the position. Wilson trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom. Wilson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dean's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Dean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Luke Wilson was stalling too much, according to the referee. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dean. Dean gets caught flat footed, as Wilson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dean looking for a sweep. Not yet Dean, not yet. Wilson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dean keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Luke Wilson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Wilson tries to clinch but Dean moves out of range. Wilson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Luke Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dean shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilson pinned against the cage. Wilson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dean misses with a series of wild punches.
Wilson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wilson lands in his opponent's guard. Dean looking for a sweep. Not yet Dean, not yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dean working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dean napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wilson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wilson throwing strikes but Dean manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Wilson is looking to regain half guard here but Dean keeps moving and retains side control. Dean working the body and head with strikes. Wilson seems a little lost for a moment, as Dean dominates the positioning. Wilson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dean off and has taken his back! Dean is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Wilson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wilson trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Dean is in bad spot here.
Wilson is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Luke Wilson has got the better of the ground game so far. Wilson is controlling the position but Dean somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Dean is defending against the submission attempts here by Wilson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard. Wilson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Wilson trying to control from Dean's half guard. Dean has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Wilson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dean avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wilson is looking to work some ground and pound but Dean has wrist control. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wilson wants to control from the top but Dean keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Luke Wilson. Dean throws a one two combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dean ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wilson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wilson lands with a nice body punch. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilson in side control, just content to control the action for now. Wilson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gaston Dean has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Luke Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilson taking a breather here.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
