Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonah Noel has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonah Noel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Muller! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muller throws a head kick that misses. Muller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Noel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Muller thinking. Muller clinches up against the cage. Muller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Noel throws a big shot that misses. Noel misses the shot to the body. Noel throws a series of punches but Muller moves out of range. Muller clinches. Muller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Noel has Muller pressed against the cage, preventing Muller from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Muller is trying to pull guard but Noel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Muller is trying to force a seperation but Noel has the dominant position. Noel blocks an uppercut.
Muller is trying to trip Noel. He has hold of a leg but Noel is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Muller persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller looking to sit in guard and control but Noel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Muller trying to control the position.
Muller is looking to sweep but instead, Noel has passed into half guard.
Muller is trying to maintain the position but Noel is very close to passing his half guard. Noel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Noel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Noel lands strikes from half guard. Noel slows the pace down in half guard. Noel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Muller with a lazy takedown attempt and Noel counters with a one-two to the body. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Muller has eaten all the pies! Noel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Noel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Muller has escaped the position, nice work there. Muller wants to control but Noel postures up. Noel tries for a kimura but Muller is defending well. Noel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Noel. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Muller tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Noel presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Muller tries to hold on but Noel postures up. Muller working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Muller keeps trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jonah Noel will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Muller closes the distance and pushes Noel back into the cage. Muller fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Noel breaks the clinch.
Muller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Noel. Muller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Muller. Muller delivers a nice body kick. Muller misses with a straight right. Muller pushes Noel up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Muller jumps guard but Noel turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jonah Noel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Muller. Muller with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Muller tries to work over Noel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Noel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Muller misses with a double jab
and Muller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Muller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Noel sees it coming and avoids it easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Noel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muller instigates a clinch. Noel breaks the clinch.
Muller closes the distance and clinches up with Noel, looking for a takedown. Muller pushes Noel against the cage but Noel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Noel fails with a takedown attempt. Muller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Noel sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Muller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Noel avoids it really well and circles away. Muller is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Noel. No joy for Muller on that attempt. Jake Muller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muller moves into range and clinches up with Noel. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Noel successfully pulls guard.
Muller won't allow Noel to sweep him here. Muller pushes down on Noel's leg and manages to get into half guard. Muller is looking to stall here but Noel recovers full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Noel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Muller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Muller stopping the sweep attempt from Noel. Jonah Noel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Muller controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Muller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Muller clinches up against the cage. Muller fails to pull guard.
Muller jumps guard but Noel stands there with Muller around his waist. Muller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Muller tries to pull guard but Noel holds him up against the cage and eventually Muller drops back down to his feet.
Jonah Noel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Muller. Noel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Muller closes the distance and clinches up with Noel, looking for a takedown. Muller pushes Noel against the cage but Noel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Noel checks a leg kick. Muller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Muller is trying to control the position but Noel postures up. Muller has momentary wrist control but Noel slips an elbow through the middle. Noel is pushing down on Muller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muller is fighting to maintain full guard but Noel has managed to sneak the leg through. Noel controlling the action here. Muller wants to control but Noel is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muller looking for subs from the bottom but Noel mounts him! Muller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Noel looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Noel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Noel with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noel controlling the pace for now. Muller is trying to reverse the position but instead Noel has taken his back - oops! Noel has good solid back control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Noel avoiding Muller 's attempts to control his hands. Muller is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muller is trying to break free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. I would not like to be Muller right now.
And that's the end of the fight! Jonah Noel showed his dominance in that final round. I think Noel has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
