Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fuck the USA kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Matti Laine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine throws a head kick that misses.
Laine looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Stein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Laine just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stein throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Laine on the side of the head.

Laine decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Stein stalks Laine and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Laine's face. Laine staggers backwards, shaken.
Stein fails in his attempt to clinch.

Stein shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Stein content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Laine wants to get back to full guard.
Laine takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stein perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Laine walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stein throws a one two combo.

Stein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Laine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
