Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inyour Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inyour Face will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ethan Shepherd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Inyour Face!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shepherd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shepherd fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Face to the ground. Shepherd is now in Face's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Shepherd stays in close to Face's body and controls the position.
Shepherd prevents Face from getting back to his feet.
Shepherd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Face is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Shepherd dives into side control.
Face looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Face avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Shepherd.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shepherd is chipping away with strikes.

Shepherd thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Face is trying to buck Shepherd off.
Face is being controlled here.
Shepherd trying to control the position but Face is working away.
Face is pushing Shepherd's head away, looking to escape. Shepherd manages to hold on to the position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Shepherd stands up and beckons Face to his feet.
Face misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shepherd.
Face avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Face misses the jab.
Shepherd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Face swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Shepherd throws out a leg kick but Face moves out of range and Shepherd only half commits.
Shepherd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Face finds it's way round the side to connect with Shepherd's head.


It looks like Ethan Shepherd has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Face drives through with a takedown into Shepherd's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Face throws a big right hand that misses.
Face postures up.
Face wants to stand but Shepherd has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shepherd looking to control.
Face loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Face looking to pass the guard.
Shepherd managing to control the position.
Face must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ethan Shepherd.
Shepherd takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Face works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Shepherd 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Face misses with a double jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Shepherd throws a series of punches but Face moves out of range.
Face digs a good body shot into Shepherd's ribs.
Face is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Shepherd gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shepherd walks into a left hand.


Shepherd is rocked!
Face lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Shepherd is looking to close the distance but Face sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Shepherd crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Shepherd is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Inyour Face!
During a confident post fight interview, Inyour Face thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
