6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Cunnings! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martial scores with a hook to the body. Cunnings takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Martial lands a right hook to the body.
Martial lands a jab to the head.
Martial bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Martial throws a head kick but Cunnings moves out of range.

Martial keeps Cunnings at a distance using the push kick. Cunnings looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Martial scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cunnings in his tracks. Cunnings swivels though and keeps the full guard. Martial trying to control the position from guard on top but Cunnings is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Martial has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Martial trying to control but Cunnings is working from the bottom. Cunnings wants to get back to his feet but Martial is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Martial wants to control from the top but Cunnings keeps moving.

Martial ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bonifacio Martial is winning the standup battle so far. Cunnings uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martial.

Cunnings has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Martial. Martial lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cunnings at a distance.

Martial lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Martial lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Martial ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cunnings moves away. Martial throws a sloppy head kick and Cunnings moves out of range easily. The crowd cheers as Martial lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cunnings doesn't seem phased though. Martial throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cunnings with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Martial to score with a decent uppercut. Martial works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Cunnings misses with the body kick and Martial counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cunnings is lucky that one didn't land flush. A head kick from Martial lands but Cunnings takes it in his stride. Cunnings has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Cunnings scores with a nice right hand.

Martial wants to control from the top but Cunnings keeps moving. Cunnings seems to have recovered his senses. Cunnings wants to get back to his feet but Martial is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martial works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cunnings is not content to let Martial control the position. Cunnings is trying to escape back to his feet but Martial uses the scramble to pass into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cunnings can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cunnings prevents Martial from moving into mount. Cunnings pushes Martial away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Martial gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Martial trying to control the position but Cunnings is working away. Cunnings wants to control but Martial postures up. Tyler Cunnings has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cunnings is not content to let Martial control the position. Bonifacio Martial is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Martial punishes Cunnings's body with a nice straight punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Bonifacio Martial showed his dominance in that final round. Well Martial has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
