Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Trap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Trap! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trap closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Trap pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Trap has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Silva scores with a jab. Trap tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes. Trap shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trap's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Daniel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Trap. Trap walks into a straight right hand from Silva. Trap shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Trap's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Silva scores with a three punch combo!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trap takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Trap fails with the takedown. Trap shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Silva rushes Trap and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Trap gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Trap sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Silva defending well though. Silva is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trap not landing any meaningful shots this time. Trap tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it. Trap is trying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Silva is trying to escape back to his feet but Trap uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Trap misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Trap scores with punches from side control. Trap working the ground and pound. Silva is not content to let Trap control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trap working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Silva parries the strikes from Trap easily there. Trap is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Silva to escape.
Trap lands a nice forearm strike. Trap has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Trap in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Silva is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
