Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amin Cabdi Mataan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyreke Vesilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amin Cabdi Mataan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesilla tries to clinch up
and Cabdi Mataan counters by clinching up.
Cabdi Mataan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Cabdi Mataan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vesilla is defending well for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Vesilla has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cabdi Mataan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vesilla.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cabdi Mataan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cabdi Mataan get's back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyreke Vesilla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cabdi Mataan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vesilla quickly recovers to half guard.

Cabdi Mataan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vesilla is looking to escape.
Cabdi Mataan avoids the attempt from Vesilla to control.
Vesilla gets back to half guard.
Cabdi Mataan tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Vesilla.

Vesilla is trying to control but can't.
Vesilla tries to get to full guard but Cabdi Mataan has control of the leg.

Vesilla takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Amin Cabdi Mataan will probably get the nod.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Vesilla! Cabdi Mataan is out on his feet! Vesilla rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Cabdi Mataan is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Cabdi Mataan is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyreke Vesilla!
Post fight, Tyreke Vesilla stared into the camera and said 'I think that I'm the uncrowned champ and I'm coming for that belt!'.
