Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spurt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spurt Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Recksun misses with a takedown attempt - Reynolds sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Recksun misses with a takedown and Reynolds counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Recksun thinking. Recksun closes the distance and clinches. Recksun jumps guard but Reynolds stands there with Recksun around his waist. Recksun gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Recksun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reynolds tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Recksun wants to get back to striking at distance but Reynolds won't allow it.
Recksun blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Reynolds misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Reynolds doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Recksun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Reynolds avoids the head kick by Recksun.
Good standup being displayed there by Reynolds as he connects with a hook. Nice takedown defense from Reynolds. No joy for Recksun on that attempt. Recksun leaves Reynolds with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Reynolds looks to score with a jab to the body but Recksun is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Recksun stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Reynolds connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Recksun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Reynolds dodges the punch combination from Recksun.
Reynolds connects with a body shot. Reynolds avoids the head kick by Recksun.
Recksun shoots in but no luck this time. Reynolds throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Recksun tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Reynolds is in Recksun's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Reynolds postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Recksun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reynolds is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reynolds is stalling in the full guard. Recksun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reynolds stops Recksun from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sloppy strikes from Recksun. Those never looked like landing. Reynolds moves into the clinch successfully.
A short uppercut from Reynolds. Reynolds works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Recksun is breathing heavily. Recksun's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
It looks like Hugh Recksun has been cut. Reynolds gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reynolds landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Recksun avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reynolds.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds is trying to control. Recksun wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Reynolds thows a huge punch but Recksun dodges it nicely.
Reynolds thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Recksun's head. Reynolds is keen to just control but Recksun is a slippery customer. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Reynolds stops Recksun from getting back to his feet.
Recksun blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reynolds. Reynolds lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Recksun is refusing to be controlled, as Reynolds sits in half guard. Recksun is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds thows a huge punch but Recksun dodges it nicely.
Reynolds stops Recksun from getting back to his feet.
Reynolds looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Recksun with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This has been an exciting period of action! Reynolds is looking for a kimura but Recksun is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reynolds to get the leverage. Recksun looks like he's trying to stand up.
Recksun is defending against the submission attempts here by Reynolds.
Reynolds has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Reynolds drops an elbow to the side of Recksun's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Recksun pushes Reynolds off looking to stand but Reynolds dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spurt Reynolds dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hugh Recksun's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reynolds walks into a left hand. Reynolds looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hugh Recksun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reynolds shoots in looking for a takedown but Recksun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reynolds's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Reynolds connects with a looping right hand.

Reynolds lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Recksun looks to throw the jab but Reynolds is out of range. Reynolds is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Reynolds ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Recksun throws a right hand that Reynolds ducks under and follows up with a left that Reynolds also avoids with ease. Reynolds lands a right hook to the body.
Recksun with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reynolds to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Recksun scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Reynolds ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Reynolds with a body punch. A glancing blow. Recksun misses with an attempted mid kick.
Recksun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Recksun takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hugh Recksun is winning the standup battle so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Reynolds finds it's way through Recksun's defenses. Spurt Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Recksun misses with a straight right. Reynolds is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Recksun rather than just go for the knockout. Reynolds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Reynolds shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Recksun manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Reynolds trying to control but Recksun is working from the bottom. Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Recksun keeping full guard, as Reynolds tries to pass. Reynolds throwing strikes but missing. Reynolds prevents Recksun from getting back to his feet. Reynolds working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Recksun wants to stand up but Reynolds is controlling him. Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Reynolds missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Reynolds with a nice head shot there. Recksun wants to stand and escape but Reynolds is having none of it. Reynolds trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reynolds is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Recksun can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reynolds controls the pace. Reynolds stops Recksun from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reynolds looking to pass the guard. Recksun wants to stand up but Reynolds is controlling him. Reynolds working some strikes from top position. Recksun keeping moving, preventing Reynolds from controlling successfully. Spurt Reynolds has got the better of the ground game so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Recksun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reynolds wants to control from the top but Recksun keeps moving.
Spurt Reynolds has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Recksun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reynolds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Reynolds fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hugh Recksun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spurt Reynolds. Reynolds cracks Recksun with an open hand slap. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reynolds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Recksun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Excellent takedown into side control there by Reynolds. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spurt Reynolds showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hugh Recksun's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Recksun wants to stand and escape but Reynolds is having none of it.

Recksun wants to stand but Reynolds has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Recksun working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Recksun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reynolds is proving hard to escape from. Reynolds keeping moving, preventing Recksun from controlling successfully. Recksun forces his way into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reynolds wants to improve his position but Recksun is controlling well.

Reynolds is not content to let Recksun control the position. Recksun thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Reynolds is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reynolds slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Reynolds looking for a triangle here. Recksun is fighting it but it looks tight! Reynolds pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Recksun is tapping out - this one is all over!
