The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baddabing jabbing away but nothing is landing. A head kick misses from Watson. A slow jab from Baddabing misses its intended target. Baddabing misses with an uppercut. Watson tries to score with a low kick but Baddabing moves his leg out of the way. Baddabing lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Thomas Watson has been cut. Crunch! Watson slams his shin into Baddabing's torso. Watson throws a head kick but Baddabing moves out of range.
Watson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Watson works the jab nicely. Watson loads up on a big right hand but Baddabing slips the punch. Watson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baddabing looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baddabing fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. No joy there for Watson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Watson tries to land a front kick but Baddabing steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. We've been hearing reports that Baddabing has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Watson tries a head kick but it misses.
Watson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Watson slips under a jab from Baddabing. Baddabing fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Watson on the side of the head.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Watson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Baddabing has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Baddabing and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Watson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baddabing. Watson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Watson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Baddabing takes one to the side of the head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baddabing stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A nice inside leg kick there by Watson. That's going to slow Baddabing down. Baddabing rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Watson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Baddabing is trying to control the position but Watson postures up. Baddabing manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watson manages to get himself to full guard.
Watson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Watson looking for a sweep. Not yet Watson, not yet. Baddabing wants to control from the top but Watson keeps moving. Watson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baddabing is one step ahead there. Watson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Baddabing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Watson keeping moving, preventing Baddabing from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Watson holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Baddabing displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Watson throws out the jab. Watson ducks under a wild hook from Baddabing. Watson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Watson throws an overhand right that lands on Baddabing's shoulder, as Baddabing tries to avoid the shot. Watson lands an overhand right. Watson throws a leg kick which misses Baddabing's front leg but catches the back leg as Baddabing tries to avoid it. Watson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Baddabing.

Baddabing scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Watson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Baddabing chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Watson can pounce on him.
Watson throws a low kick but Baddabing moves out of range easily. Baddabing misses with a hook. Watson ducked under it nicely. Baddabing jabbing away but nothing is landing. Baddabing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Manny Baddabing has been cut. Watson misses the shot to the body. A head kick by Watson misses and Baddabing counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Watson's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baddabing content to stall in guard here. Watson managing to control the position. Baddabing won't allow Watson to sweep him here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Watson has his hands on Baddabing's head, controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Baddabing controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Watson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Watson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Watson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Watson lands with a nice body punch.

Thomas Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Watson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Watson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Baddabing is rocked! Nice defenses there by Watson. Oh Baddabing is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baddabing moves out of range of the body kick from Watson.
Baddabing seems to have got his legs back now. Watson throws a head kick that misses. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Baddabing crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Watson - the referee stops the clock and Baddabing gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Watson. Baddabing manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Baddabing throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Watson tests Baddabing's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Baddabing drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Watson follows Baddabing to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Watson! Thomas Watson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
