The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szczerbiec lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Johnson throws an off balance right hand
and Szczerbiec counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Szczerbiec sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
