Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Pep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anzhor Azhiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pep comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Theme Song (Here Comes The Boom - Nelly). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pep throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pep keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Azhiev fails with the takedown.
Azhiev shoots in but Pep avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Frankie Pep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anzhor Azhiev.
Azhiev shoots in for a takedown but Pep shows good takedown defense.
Azhiev dodges the punch combination from Pep.
Pep pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pep displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Azhiev.

Pep closes the distance and pushes Azhiev back into the cage.
Pep lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Azhiev or not.
Pep is pressed up against the cage. Azhiev has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pep down to the mat. Pep avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pep throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Azhiev sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pep leaves Azhiev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pep moves into the clinch successfully.
Azhiev fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pep working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Azhiev tries to pull guard but Pep won't allow it.

Still in the clinch, Pep scores with a nice short uppercut.
Azhiev's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pep lands a hook that snaps the head of Azhiev backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pep.
Azhiev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pep walks away with a smile on his face. Azhiev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Frankie Pep is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pep darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Azhiev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pep swivels and escapes.
Pep scores with a hook.
Pep lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Azhiev darts in looking for a takedown but Pep gets double underhooks and turns Azhiev into the cage.
Azhiev looks winded!
Azhiev jumps guard but Pep stands there with Azhiev around his waist. Azhiev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pep has Azhiev pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pep pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Azhiev tumbling to the mat - Pep dives into Azhiev's guard.
Pep stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Azhiev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Pep fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Azhiev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pep sprawls well. Pep wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Azhiev gets slowly back to his feet.
Azhiev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pep avoids it really well and circles away.
Pep stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pep wants it to stay on the feet.
Azhiev shoots in but Pep avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Good exchange - Pep coming out on top.
Pep is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Azhiev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pep circles away.
Azhiev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pep sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pep lands a left and a right that send Azhiev crashing to the mat, dazed. Pep thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Pep has taken the fight to the clinch.
Azhiev's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pep lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Pep lands a left hand.
Pep lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Danga de danga de dang - Pep scores with a four punch combination!
Azhiev is still on wobbly legs! Can Pep finish him?
Pep connects with an inside leg kick.

A slapping leg kick lands for Pep.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pep drops Azhiev with a big left hand! Azhiev is injured, injured bad! Pep jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frankie Pep!
A less than humble Frankie Pep misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Anzhor Azhiev had this to say: 'I still want that title shot. Im the most experienced fighter here and everyday wants to see me smash the champ so lets do it whenever he starts ducking me.'.
