Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Florencio Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Florencio Nolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Cullen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nolan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cullen tries to bum rush Nolan with a series of wild strikes but Nolan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cullen keeps the fight on the outside.
Nolan moves to clinch but Cullen breaks away
and Cullen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cullen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nolan.
Cullen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Nolan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cullen's guard now.

Nolan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nolan is looking to work some ground and pound but Cullen has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cullen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nolan is controlling him.
Cullen keeping moving, preventing Nolan from controlling successfully.

Nolan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nolan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cullen wants to stand but Nolan is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nolan with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cullen wants to get back to his feet but Nolan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nolan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cullen's head.

Nolan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nolan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nolan drops back looking for a leg! Cullen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cullen manages to kick Nolan off! Nolan jumps back into Cullen's guard.

Nolan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cullen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cullen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cullen!

Cullen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nolan to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cullen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nolan at a distance.
Nolan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cullen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nolan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cullen feints a jab promting Nolan to slip. Cullen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nolan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cullen looks winded!
Nolan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cullen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cullen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cullen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nolan backs up against the cage.
Cullen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nolan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cullen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nolan shoots in for a takedown but Cullen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nolan tries to clinch but Cullen moves out of range.
Nolan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cullen misses with a double jab
letting Nolan counter with a right hand.
A punch combination from Cullen misses.
Cullen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Nolan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Nice strikes from Nolan there.
Nolan performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Nolan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Nolan is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cullen is looking to escape.
Nolan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Still in half guard, Nolan seems content to control.
Nolan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Cullen is trying to stand up here but Nolan is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nolan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cullen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
