Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies by Drowning Pool. Tim Duggan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arlovski fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Arlovski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duggan tries to avoid it but Arlovski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duggan to the ground. Duggan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Arlovski gets the takedown into side control. Duggan is trying to improve his position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Duggan regains half guard. Arlovski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Arlovski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Arlovski wants to control but Duggan is keeping him busy. Duggan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Arlovski pulls his head out easily. Duggan is looking for a sweep. Arlovski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Arlovski is tying to control. Duggan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Duggan wants to clinch up but Arlovski keeps it at a distance. Duggan misses with the combination.
Duggan is looking to clinch. Duggan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Duggan. Duggan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Duggan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Duggan manages to end up in side control. Arlovski tries to improve position but can't. Arlovski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duggan misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Duggan wants to get back to full guard. Duggan looks gassed! Duggan is not content to let Arlovski control the position. Arlovski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Duggan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan tries to get to full guard but Arlovski has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arlovski connects with a nice short shot to Duggan's temple. Arlovski is looking to advance position but Duggan won't allow it. Arlovski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Duggan! Duggan is looking to improve his position but Arlovski isn't that keen on the idea. Arlovski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Arlovski cracks Duggan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlovski controlling the pace for now. Arlovski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Arlovski fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Arlovski landing punches. Arlovski tries to control but Duggan wriggling away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Arlovski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Arlovski scoring with strikes but Duggan is staying in there. Arlovski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Duggan is surviving well by controlling Arlovski's body position as best he can. Duggan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Duggan regains half guard. Arlovski is nestled in close to Duggan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Arlovski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Duggan! Duggan is squirming around, avoiding Arlovski's attempts to control the action. Arlovski lands a big elbow. Duggan is trying desperately to improve position. Arlovski looking to control but Duggan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Arlovski controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Arlovski dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Arlovski throws a good cross that connects.
Arlovski fails with the takedown. Jack Arlovski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duggan dodges the punch combination from Arlovski.
Arlovski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duggan. Arlovski tries for a takedown but Duggan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Arlovski swings for the body but Duggan moves out of range.
Duggan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Duggan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Arlovski swats away the attempt to clinch by Duggan. Duggan doesn't manage to clinch there - Arlovski circles away.
Arlovski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Duggan! Arlovski looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski looking to control but Duggan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Duggan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Arlovski trying to control but Duggan is having none of it. Arlovski scoring with strikes but Duggan is staying in there. Arlovski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duggan is looking to escape. Duggan is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Arlovski looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Arlovski dominating with strikes here. Arlovski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Duggan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Duggan throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Arlovski fails to move to back control. Arlovski putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Duggan manages to regain half guard. Good work. Arlovski trying to control from Duggan's half guard. Duggan has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Duggan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Arlovski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Duggan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Arlovski's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlovski is trying to break free.
Arlovski turns into Duggan and is now in his guard.

Arlovski content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Arlovski passes into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Arlovski lands a nice short elbow. Arlovski is taking a breather. Duggan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Duggan wants to improve his position but Arlovski is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Arlovski is controlling the pace.
Duggan wants to get back to full guard. Duggan is trying to stand up here but Arlovski is controlling him well. Arlovski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Duggan tries to roll over but Arlovski keeps him under control. Arlovski passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Arlovski dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Arlovski has a takedown stuffed. Arlovski closes the distance and clinches. Arlovski goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duggan prevents it.
Duggan tries to score a body lock takedown but Arlovski shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Duggan keeps control of Arlovski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Arlovski looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Arlovski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duggan stops a takedown attempt from Arlovski.
Duggan manages to break the clinch.
Arlovski tries to close the distance and clinch but Duggan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tim Duggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duggan doesn't manage to clinch there - Arlovski circles away.
Duggan throws a head kick but Arlovski moves out of range.
Arlovski circles away from the clinch attempt and Arlovski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Duggan tries to clinch but Arlovski is having none of it. Duggan closes the distance looking to clinch and Arlovski counters with a left and a right that stings Duggan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski shoots in and drives through. Duggan sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Duggan. No joy for Arlovski on that attempt. Arlovski throws a combination. Duggan tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Duggan pushes Arlovski up against the cage in a clinch. Arlovski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Duggan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Duggan gets control of Arlovski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Duggan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Arlovski won't allow Duggan to sweep him here. Arlovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duggan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Duggan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arlovski's guard. Arlovski wants to sweep here but Duggan controlling him for the moment. Arlovski is trying to keep Duggan in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlovski looking for a sweep. Not yet Arlovski, not yet. Duggan trying to control but Arlovski is working from the bottom. Arlovski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Arlovski trying to control the position.
Duggan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Arlovski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Duggan is trying to escape the mount but Arlovski keeps good control and instead manages to take Duggan's back.
Jack Arlovski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Duggan rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

And that's the end of the fight! Jack Arlovski showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arlovski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
