Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vince Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Advel Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vince Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Advel Dogg! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dogg engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dogg landing some decent shots from guard. Fox is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dogg defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dogg stops Fox from standing up. Fox wants to sweep here but Dogg controlling him for the moment. Dogg controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox is looking to sweep but instead, Dogg has passed into half guard.
Dogg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fox tries to get to full guard but Dogg has control of the leg. Dogg passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fox! Dogg has hold of Fox's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fox manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dogg is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fox is surviving well by controlling Dogg's body position as best he can. Fox tries to reverse the position but Dogg maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dogg working Fox over with strikes here. Dogg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dogg jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fox manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dogg moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Let's hope that Dogg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fox really is a fat lump.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox tries to escape but Dogg is in control. Dogg controlling from side mount.
Advel Dogg has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fox lands a jab-cross combination. Fox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dogg as he jumps to the side. Vince Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fox gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dogg to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dogg won't allow Fox to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dogg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dogg keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fox's head. Dogg is stalling in the full guard. Dogg is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fox is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dogg is controlling him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dogg stays in close to Fox's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Advel Dogg dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fox misses with a combination
and Dogg counters with a straight right hand. Fox shoots for a double leg takedown but Dogg sprawls well. He's pushed Fox's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dogg lands a jab. Fox closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dogg circles away. Fox tries for a takedown but Dogg circles away easily and Dogg counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dogg taking a breather here. Dogg has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fox! Dogg with the ground and pound from mount.
Fox is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dogg quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dogg but it's paid off an Fox is forced to tap! Nice work by Dogg.
