Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Granville Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodriguez Salas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Granville Medina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rodriguez Salas! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medina has taken the fight to the clinch.
Salas is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Medina pulls him back up using the underhooks. Medina gets underhooks to prevent Salas's takedown attempt.
Medina tries to score a body lock takedown but Salas shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Medina tries to pull guard but Salas holds him up against the cage and eventually Medina drops back down to his feet.
Medina could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Medina tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Salas just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Granville Medina. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salas is defending well against a takedown attempt. Medina fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Medina looking for a takedown. Salas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Medina uses from the top position. Medina trying to control but Salas is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Medina has his hands clasped together but Salas extends and breaks Medina's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Salas.
