Adrian comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Super Bon Bon - Soul Coughing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adrian fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mayor, pushing him back against the cage.
Mayor scores with a shot to the side of Adrian's head.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mayor as Adrian tries to tie him up.
Adrian is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
We've been informed that Adrian has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
