Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Boswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Cozard Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cozard Jr has chosen Kid Rock - Born Free as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozard Jr connects with a looping right hand.
Boswell looks for a takedown but Cozard Jr sprawls well.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Boswell. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Cozard Jr is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Boswell had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Boswell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boswell looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boswell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cozard Jr sprawls well initially but Boswell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boswell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cozard Jr keeps working.

Boswell has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cozard Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boswell lands a couple of good shots and Cozard Jr has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Boswell's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

After the fight, Bryce Boswell was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
