Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Simon Adabisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brahma Cervejinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cervejinha has chosen Beer! by Psychostick as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Simon Adabisi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brahma Cervejinha! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cervejinha throws the kick towards the body but Adabisi avoids it. Adabisi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cervejinha scoring well with a low kick there.
Cervejinha scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cervejinha tries to clinch up but Adabisi circles away and keeps his distance. Cervejinha moves into range and clinches up with Adabisi. Cervejinha misses with the head strike.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Cervejinha throws an elbow but misses. Adabisi just leaning against Cervejinha, taking a breather. Cervejinha trying to land knees to the body.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Cervejinha as Adabisi tries to tie him up. We've been informed that Cervejinha has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Cervejinha landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Brahma Cervejinha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cervejinha throws a leg kick but Adabisi sees it coming and moves out of range. Cervejinha plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Cervejinha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Adabisi lands with an uppercut that bounces Cervejinha off the ropes and back into range. Adabisi checks a low kick from Cervejinha. Adabisi thows a left - swing and a miss! Adabisi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Warehouse in the buildup to the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cervejinha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Adabisi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nice cross by Adabisi. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Adabisi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adabisi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cervejinha moves out of range of the strikes. Adabisi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cervejinha feints and then cracks Adabisi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Adabisi down. Adabisi lands a nice looking body shot.
Adabisi keeps the fight on the outside. Adabisi circles away from the clinch attempt and Adabisi counters with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cervejinha throws a leg kick but Adabisi checks it. Adabisi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cervejinha moves into the clinch successfully.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Cervejinha throws an elbow but misses. Cervejinha lands a damaging elbow. Nice elbow from Cervejinha. Cervejinha wants to get back to striking at distance but Adabisi won't allow it.

Adabisi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Cervejinha is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cervejinha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brahma Cervejinha dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Adabisi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cervejinha. Simon Adabisi is winning the standup battle so far. Adabisi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Adabisi throws an overhand right that lands on Cervejinha's shoulder, as Cervejinha tries to avoid the shot. Cervejinha throws a head kick but Adabisi moves out of range.
Adabisi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Adabisi circles away from the clinch attempt.

Adabisi lands a lovely overhand right. Cervejinha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cervejinha throws a head kick but Adabisi moves out of range.

Cervejinha is backing up but Adabisi catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Cervejinha covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Adabisi Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
