Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Farber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into the arena with "Don't Waste My Time" by Jim Johnston blaring out of the sound system. Farber is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Keep Me" by The Black Keys. Uriah Farber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marlon Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uriah Farber! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farber digs a good body shot into Griffin's ribs. Griffin takes one to the chin there. Farber misses with a body shot.
Farber cracks a nice hook into Griffin's ribs. Griffin looks to clinch so Farber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Griffin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Griffin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Griffin tries to get out of the position. Farber advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Griffin is breathing heavily. Farber slows the pace down. Griffin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Farber is trying to get an arm triangle but Griffin is defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Farber thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farber in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Farber tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Farber has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! An elbow from Farber crashes against the mat.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Farber is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Griffin has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Griffin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Farber tries to score with some ground and pound. Griffin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Farber tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Farber has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Farber is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Griffin is trying to escape and Farber transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Griffin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Farber! Very nice indeed!

Uriah Farber seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Marlon Griffin was interviewed post fight and said 'The miracle is comin!'.
