Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ayce Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ayce Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Money is looking to chop away at Stevens's legs.
Money blocks a jab.
Money lands a nice looking kick to the body. Stevens takes a step back to recover.
Good leg kick by Money there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Money closes the distance and clinches.

Money escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Money slips a straight right by Stevens.
Money moves out of range of the strikes.
Stevens missing with a left hand there. Money was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stevens throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Money feints and as Stevens raises his hands in defense, Money changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Money stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Money moves away from the strike by Stevens.

Money looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stevens!
Money is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Money postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Stevens bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Money's guard.
Stevens won't allow Money to sweep him here.

Stevens looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Money tries to kick Stevens off but Stevens keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Stevens is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Money doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stevens.

Stevens frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Money tries to reverse the position but Stevens maintains control.

Stevens jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Money manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Money wants to get back to his feet but Stevens drags him back down.

Stevens is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Money is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Money gets back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Money pushes Stevens off and gets back to his feet.
Stevens missing with a left hand there. Money was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Money.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Money has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ayce Money will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Billy Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevens looks to land a left hand but Money moved out of range nicely.
Money throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jab, jab by Stevens - just one landing.
Money takes one on the button.

Stevens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Money scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Stevens is breathing heavily.

Money stands up and waves to Stevens to follow him.
Billy Stevens has got the better of the ground game so far.
Money fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stevens.

Money forces Stevens back against the cage and clinches.

Money is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Stevens can't fight it off and eventually Money manages to take the fight to the floor. Stevens looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Money wants to stand but Stevens has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Stevens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Money manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
