Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Commisioner Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Beto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joao Beto is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Commisioner Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joao Beto!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oooooh!!! Gordon has knocked Beto down with a huge combo! Gordon steps away and waves a wobbly Beto back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Joao Beto has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beto misses with a takedown
and Gordon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gordon gets a clinch.
Beto manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Beto looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Beto keeping moving, preventing Gordon from controlling successfully.
Gordon throws a big right hand that misses.

Gordon tries to free his leg and advance position but Beto is retaining full guard.
Gordon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gordon is looking to pass into half guard but Beto pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Beto is in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gordon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Beto is controlling him.
Gordon pushes Beto off and scrambles back to his feet.
Beto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Commisioner Gordon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Beto.

Beto closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gordon counters with a left and a right that stings Beto.

and Beto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Beto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gordon pinned against the cage. Gordon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Beto looks for a takedown but Gordon sprawls well.

Gordon misses with a few strikes there.
Gordon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Beto's hands.

Gordon clinches up against the cage.
Beto wants a takedown but no success here.
Beto tries to pull guard but Gordon holds him up against the cage and eventually Beto drops back down to his feet.

Gordon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gordon lands with a right to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Beto.
Beto successfully pulls guard.
Gordon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beto is proving hard to escape from.
Gordon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Beto is looking for a triangle here but Gordon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beto is trying to improve his position.
Gordon happy to just control the position for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Beto stops Gordon from passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Commisioner Gordon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joao Beto's cut.
That's time! Gordon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gordon stuffs the takedown.
Beto slips a jab and a cross from Gordon.

Beto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gordon's half guard.
Beto is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gordon!

Gordon wants to get back to his feet.
Beto passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gordon!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beto won't let Gordon get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Joao Beto has got the better of the ground game so far.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gordon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Beto lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gordon is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Beto working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Beto lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beto tries to control but Gordon wriggling away.
Gordon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gordon tries to get out of the position.
Beto is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Gordon is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Gordon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Beto lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Beto trying to control but Gordon is having none of it.
Beto fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gordon is rocked!
Beto postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gordon badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Beto around the waist but Beto pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Beto is the winner by TKO! Beto jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joao Beto!
