Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vroman Shikhar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reizo Okabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okabe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by River City Boss Theme. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vroman Shikhar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reizo Okabe!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Shikhar.
Shikhar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Okabe misses
and Shikhar counters with a thumping low kick.
Nice body kick from Shikhar.
Shikhar thows a body kick. Okabe tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Okabe.
Shikhar lands a head kick. Okabe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Shikhar throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Okabe's head.
Shikhar tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Okabe throws a leg kick but Shikhar checks it.
Shikhar lands a front kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shikhar misses with a hook
and Okabe counters with a straight right hand.
Okabe throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Shikhar.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Okabe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shikhar - the referee stops the clock and Okabe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shikhar. Okabe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Shikhar connects with an inside leg kick.
Okabe throws a chopping leg kick but Shikhar manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Shikhar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shikhar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Okabe. That did some damage!

Good leg kick by Okabe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Okabe motions for Shikhar to come forward. Okabe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Okabe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shikhar.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Okabe takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Shikhar throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Okabe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Okabe throws a leg kick which misses Shikhar's front leg but catches the back leg as Shikhar tries to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Okabe misses with a low kick.
Shikhar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Vroman Shikhar has been cut.
Shikhar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shikhar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Okabe.
Shikhar is rocked!
Okabe sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shikhar's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shikhar's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Reizo Okabe!
An out of breath and clearly excited Reizo Okabe thanked ONI for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
