Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by SURF RIDER!!! by The lively ones!. Daedalus has chosen Spartacus Soundtrack as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
39 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankestein Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quintus Daedalus! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daedalus tries to score with a low kick but Mir moves his leg out of the way. Daedalus dips to his left and cracks Mir with an uppercut! Daedalus is looking to clinch. Mir misses with a body kick. Mir connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. No luck for Daedalus with that takedown attempt. Daedalus getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Daedalus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mir throws out the jab. A momentary lapse in concentration from Daedalus enables Mir to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daedalus manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daedalus looking for a sweep. Not yet Daedalus, not yet. Daedalus looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Daedalus avoids the attempt from Mir to control. Mir taking shots to the head. Mir tries to hold on but Daedalus postures up. Daedalus landing strikes from the mount. Daedalus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mir is looking to escape. Daedalus is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mir has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mir!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daedalus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mir trying to control but Daedalus is working from the bottom. Daedalus trying to control the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Quintus Daedalus wasn't active enough on the ground. Daedalus throws a good cross that connects.
Daedalus moves out of range of the body kick. Mir cracks Daedalus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mir buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Daedalus feints a jab promting Mir to slip. Daedalus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mir slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Mir scores with a one two! Daedalus had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daedalus staying out of range there. Mir connects with a looping right hand.
A head kick misses from Mir. Daedalus throws a sloppy head kick and Mir moves out of range easily. Mir lands with a nice body punch. Daedalus moves away from the strike by Mir.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daedalus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mir paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mir throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Daedalus is looking to clinch. Daedalus misses with a body shot.
Mir lands a lovely overhand right. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mir. Daedalus shrugs it off though. Mir keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Daedalus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Daedalus showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mir is not content to let Daedalus control the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mir trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Quintus Daedalus will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Mir throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Daedalus on the side of the head. Mir throws a head kick but Daedalus moves out of range.
Daedalus misses with a takedown attempt - Mir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mir walks into a straight right hand from Daedalus. Daedalus moves out of range of the body kick. Daedalus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mir was covering up waiting for the punch and Daedalus finishes the takedown easily into guard. Daedalus trying to control but Mir is working from the bottom. Mir trying to keep a closed guard but Daedalus is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daedalus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mir keeping moving, preventing Daedalus from controlling successfully.
Quintus Daedalus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daedalus swivels and escapes. Nice sprawl there from Daedalus as Mir shoots in. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Daedalus. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Mir is looking to land body kicks. Mir misses with a looping right. Daedalus scores with a nice head shot. Mir takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Mir sizes up Daedalus with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Daedalus looking to score a takedown here. Mir is defending well but Daedalus drives through and ends up in Mir's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Daedalus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mir looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mir looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mir!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir trying to control the action but Daedalus is working from the bottom. Daedalus is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mir has knee on belly momentarily but Daedalus bucks him off and regains half guard. Mir missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daedalus is trying to get back to full guard. Mir is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Mir is trying to control the action in half guard but Daedalus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Daedalus keeping control of the position. Daedalus is looking to control Mir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daedalus avoid being mounted? Daedalus regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir postures up.
Mir is stalling in the full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Daedalus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mir is one step ahead there. Daedalus trying to keep a closed guard but Mir is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mir is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quintus Daedalus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Daedalus shoots in for a takedown but Mir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Good shot there by Mir. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mir. Mir lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mir.
It looks like Quintus Daedalus has been cut. Daedalus fails to land with a series of punches.
Daedalus fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mir throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mir throws a jab when Daedalus was well out of range. A momentary lapse in concentration from Daedalus enables Mir to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daedalus manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daedalus being controlled here, momentarily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir looking to pass the guard. Mir wants to control from the top but Daedalus keeps moving. Daedalus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Frankestein Mir has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mir looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Frankestein Mir is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daedalus blocks a head kick by Mir.
Mir finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Daedalus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mir has time to react. Mir slaps away a takedown attempt from Daedalus, before circling back to the center of the mat. Frankestein Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quintus Daedalus. Mir goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mir with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Daedalus ducks under a wild hook from Mir. Daedalus fails with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Daedalus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Daedalus slips a jab and a cross from Mir.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir lands with a good body shot. Mir looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mir seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Daedalus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Frankestein Mir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mir thows a huge punch but Daedalus dodges it nicely.
Mir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Daedalus desperately trying to maintain half guard. Mir is trying to control the action in half guard but Daedalus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir seems to be working for a kimura but Daedalus defends the submission attempt. Daedalus tries to roll over but Mir keeps him under control. Quintus Daedalus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mir drops an elbow to the side of Daedalus's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Daedalus is staying active underneath Mir, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mir is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that's the end of the fight! Frankestein Mir showed his dominance in that final round. I think Daedalus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
