Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Siruthai Kuhan!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kuhan feints and as Holland raises his hands in defense, Kuhan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Holland working for a triangle but Kuhan defends it easily.

Holland escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kuhan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kuhan is working Holland over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kuhan wants to stand but Holland has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Holland is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kuhan defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuhan slips a nice elbow through Holland's hands, connecting with Holland's forehead.
Kuhan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kuhan is taking a breather. Holland says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kuhan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Holland controls his leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Still in half guard, Kuhan seems content to control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kuhan in particular looking to stall.

Kuhan is trying to get an arm triangle but Holland is defending well.

Kuhan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Holland is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

A lull in the action here.
Holland looking for a sweep but Kuhan has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Holland is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Kuhan has taken his back!
Kuhan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Holland is really stuck here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Siruthai Kuhan dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Holland might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kuhan advances to full mount.
Holland takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Holland is desperately trying to improve his position but Kuhan has a good base and remains in mount.
Holland tries to buck Kuhan off but Kuhan takes his back!

Kuhan lands shots from the back.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Kuhan controlling the positon.
Let's hope that Kuhan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kuhan has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Holland has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Holland can't escape the position.

Kuhan lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Kuhan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Holland defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
What can Holland do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holland is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kuhan gets his way!

Kuhan has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Holland.

Kuhan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Kuhan controlling the position well here. Holland rolled but Kuhan kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Kuhan controlling the positon.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holland tries to roll but Kuhan sticks to his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kuhan keeps control of the position easily here as Holland tries to buck him off.

Siruthai Kuhan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!


Kuhan throws a right and a left that Holland avoids nicely.
Kuhan misses with a few strikes there.
Jeff Holland is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oh Holland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kuhan closes the distance looking for a takedown. Holland stuffs it but Kuhan still has hold of him. Kuhan picks Holland up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Kuhan slams Holland to the floor and that's really hurt Holland - he doesn't know where he is! Kuhan throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Siruthai Kuhan!
